Thank you Patrick and Lenny! As a FTF, pricing has always invoked anxiety for me. I tended to think that testing W2P with our user-base would drive irrecoverable churn given the user often has more leverage than the startup in early days. This post really helped me understand how to approach B2B pricing more methodically, and be confident about our value proposition.

This is so helpful. We're trying to figure out our DTC membership pricing and it has confirmed some assumptions and also changed my mind on others. I'd love to see the spreadsheet applied to DTC. In any case, thank you!

Are you suggesting A/B test pricing? I'd imagine something like that on a quarterly basis sounds great on paper but difficult to operationalize at scale.
